“Changing Lives through Christ and Christian Love”
Our Story
“WE CAN REJOICE, TOO, WHEN WE RUN INTO PROBLEMS AND TRIALS, FOR WE KNOW THAT THEY HELP US DEVELOP ENDURANCE”.
Romans 5:3 NLT
The vision for People Like Us was born out of a real experience with dependence and abuse of alcohol. In July 2015 Martin Kindle our founder, entered a 8 week residential facility. Reclaiming Men and Women with Substance Use Disorders Through Christ and Christian Love” is the mission statement at the facility he entered.
Through this very personal experience Martin Kindle witnessed the transformative power in the lives of men struggling with substance abuse and in the process Mr Kindle received a vision in his heart from the Lord to establish a facility to help men in similar circumstances.
