Services Available Through People Like Us

Our focus is on the whole person and goes beyond a residence following detoxification. Class instruction will target issues that are important to living a healthy life of sobriety with hope and purpose.

Classroom Instruction

We will host GED, DUI and defensive driving classes for all residents. AA classes will be provided twice a week in house and residents will be asked to attend Celebrate Recovery (CR) at a nearby worship facility. Narcotics Anonymous (NA) classes are available, and we provide transportation to all classes outside our facility.

Legal Assistance / Counseling

We will have a house attorney on retainer for consultation and representation for residents, if needed. We sub-contract counselors (CAC’s) for evaluations. Within the 11th month of residency, evaluations will occur in 4 categories of life: health, finances, spiritual walk, emotional and mental health.

Skills Training/Employment/Team Work

Residents are responsible for finding and maintaining continuous employment. We have a work placement program with 5 local employers. In downtime, residents will be offered courses in upholstery, and wood working (in house).
We value teamwork and our men are responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly facility both inside and on our grounds. In addition there is a facility work day each week .
